Rant Log: 4/3/09 - (C)RAP is ROCK?

Why have rappers now adopted the music term ‘rock’? I’ll tell you why,. because a rock show is something that EVERYONE wants to be a part of. A ROCKSTAR is what everyone wants to be! And typical of the type of people who perform RAP,.. they are once again stealing from the white man.

I hear it everyday,. and see it in print,. how some fucking gold chained, gold grilled RAPPER is being called or calls himself a ‘RockStar’. That makes me sick to my fucking stomach. When have you EVER heard a rock band calling themselves ‘rappers’? NEVER! But continuously I see these rappers talking about how they are doing a ‘rock show’ or saying that they are a ‘rockstar’. Hell,. some of them have even used the lyrics ‘rockstar’ in their raps,. as a way of describing their success.

WORD UP Crap Rappers,.. until you learn how to play a guitar instead of stealing some rocker’s music in your ‘mix’,. and learn how to play drums instead of using a drum machine,. Get the FUCK OFF our term for the music that WE have struggled so hard for YEARS learning our instruments to create.

And I don’t want to hear ANY BULLSHIT about how the black man’s music in the 50’s was the beginning of rock and roll. Because even if you go with that,. IT WASN’T RAP,. IT WAS THE BLUES! And them motherfuckers could play an instrument and sing! Not just holla out a poem about crack, guns and white women over a mix of stolen music from some has-been rockstar’s song,.. like today’s (c)rap artist do.

Rant Log: 2/27/09 - First Rant

Well,. this page is called Rattlehead Rants and it was suggested by a good buddy of mine that knows that I do a lot of bitching, venting,. drunkin' rages or sober rants. So lets chalk this one up as my first one and I'll make it nice and simple so that you can get back to checking out the new Skullmetal site and hopefully telling your friends about it.

All through my career of pumping metal up people's ass I have heard nothing but bitching from OTHERS about the lack of a metal 'scene' either in the media or locally in their area with no live shows. Well guess what, Numbnuts,. it ain't gonna happen unless YOU do something about it. People who spend money to make metal happen ain't gonna just continue to throw the shit away!

I myself have been devoting MY blood, sweat and tears for over 20 fucking years,. spending thousands upon thousands $$$ in band equipment, radio station transmitters, my own precious angelic time every God damned weekend,.. marriages and jobs down the drain for the sake of promoting metal,. but STILL,. the MOST of the metal fans out there want to just sit on their ass watching some tit's and ass on the fucking tube every weekend or playing the same God damned Slayer album in their cd player and they are just expecting a metal scene to land right in their fucking lap. "Maaaaan,.. Duuuuude,. ain't nothin' happnin round here",. so lets go back to finger fucking Mary Sloppy Crotch and smoking our blunts and wondering why promoters don't book more shows,. or stations don't play more metal,.. because metal fans don't ACT! THATS WHY!

WELL GUESS WHAT! I'm gonna let you in on a dirty little secret. Here I am AGAIN after 20 damned years of MY life trying to promote the scene with a couple of good buddies who have ALSO devoted THEIR life to this cause,. and we are now spending OUR money AGAIN putting on this internet radio show for the whole wide world for FREE! FOR FREEEE! SPENDING OUR MONEY TO GIVE THE WORLD FREE METAL!!
